This FREE training equips you with the skills you may need to reach out and provide initial support to either youth or adults who may be experiencing a mental health crisis or substance use problem and connect them to appropriate care. Participants must be 18 or older to attend the training.
Unless otherwise indicated, all classes below are YOUTH Mental Health First Aid, meaning the training is specific to intervening on behalf of a youth experiencing a mental health crisis.
There is one training for Adult Mental Health First Aid
Training is offered both VIRTUAL and IN-PERSON (in Kennewick, WA). The virtual training requires 2-hours of self-paced learning that must be completed prior to attending the virtual training which completes the additional 6 hours of training. The in-person training does not require any pre-work.
